Earthing is touching your bare feet to the grass or dirt for at least thirty minutes each day or going barefoot at the beach. You’ll soon begin to notice how fast stress and pain diminish as your energy improves.

Years of extensive research has shown that connecting to the Earth’s natural energy can diminish chronic pain, fatigue and other ailments; simply by walking barefoot on grass, sand, dirt or rock. This connection is referred to as Earthing.

How it works: when your bare feet or skin comes in contact with the earth, free electrons are taken up into the body. The Earth is a conductor of free electrons. These electrons could be referred to as nature’s biggest antioxidants that help neutralize damaging excess free radicals that can lead to inflammation and disease in the body. The body is composed of electrolytes with minerals which in combination are excellent conductors of electrons from the Earth, providing there is direct skin contact or some other conductive channel for them to flow through.

The Earth’s energy is like upgrading your physiology by allowing the body to cope and repair, promoting wellbeing, vitality and better sleep. It also harmonizes and stabilizes the body’s basic biological rhythms, knocks down (and even knocks out) chronic inflammation and reduces and eliminates associated pain, making it the most natural and powerful anti-inflammatory and anti-aging remedy around.  No matter what your age, gender, race or health status you will benefit from a daily dose of Earthing!

OUR CONNECTION TO NATURE IS VITAL:

With rapid advances in technology and our modern fast-paced lifestyles, many of us have become separated from our basic bond with the Earth.

We all know that the sun gives us warmth, light and vitamin D and the Earth provides us with fresh air, water, food, and a surface to live on. In addition, when your bare feet make contact with the Earth’s surface your body uptakes a natural and subtle energy which could be referred to as vitamin G (for ground). This could be the difference between feeling good or not so good, of having little or a lot of energy, sleeping well or not so well, looking vibrant or looking tired and old, suffering from an auto-immune disease or having a strong immune system.

Throughout history humans walked, sat and slept on the ground, and cultivated the land with bare hands, spending a lot of their day naturally earthing. Today we have become increasingly disconnected from nature by our modern lifestyle. Conductive leather-soled shoes of our ancestors have been replaced with insulated rubber and plastics. We sleep in beds and homes off the ground. Plastics, synthetic fabrics, asphalt, tar, carpets, vinyl have all been introduced and block this natural connection. In addition, we are also bathed in a sea of un-natural man-made electronic radiation from household appliances, mobile phones, wi-fi, microwaves and cell towers, which bombard us continuously with excess free radical damage to our tissues and cells. The Earth’s energy helps to knock these excess free radicals down so that our body can heal and repair naturally, as it is meant to. To remain in good health, it is imperative that we re-connect with this natural energy daily to counteract the damaging effects of our modern lifestyle.

Earthing is safe and natural, for people of all ages, young and old, but it is not medicine or a substitute for medical treatment. If you have a medical condition, see your physician or healthcare provider.

HOW CAN I EXPERIENCE EARTHING NOW?

Go barefoot outside for at least 30 minutes and see what a difference it makes on your pain or stress level.  Sit, stand, lay or walk on grass, sand, dirt, or plain concrete. These are all conductive surfaces from which your body can draw the Earth’s energy. Wood, carpet, asphalt, sealed or painted concrete and vinyl won’t work and will block the flow of electrons as they are not conductive surfaces.  Experience for yourself the healing energy of the Earth at work next time you are stressed, in pain or unwell.

WAYS TO BE EARTHED EVERYDAY WHEN YOU CAN'T GET OUTSIDE:

If walking barefoot on a daily basis is not possible or practical for you, Earthing indoor products can be effective - from Grounding Shoes to Wrist Bands, Pillows, Sheets or Mats – there is an Earthing product to suit your lifestyle and needs.  You can easily set up indoor Earthing Products around the home or office and you will be able to use them, without effort or any down time, every day, including while you sleep, watch TV, while you use your computer and even while you meditate or do yoga.

OTHER WAYS TO BE EARTHED:

·     Swim in the ocean or lakes

·     Garden with bare hands

·     Lay with skin exposed to the earth

·     Hug a living tree with exposed skin

·     Wear natural leather-soled shoes
